so i just installed build 4124 of parallels desktop 3.0.

1. the upgrade from my build 3188 went smoothly. my HDD image of windows xp was upgraded and the new version of parallels tools installed smoothly.

2. coherence mode is the same as before. however, windows drives show as mounted drives on the mac desktop.

3. a cool feature is smartselect. any doc type can be associated with any app whether it be windows or mac.

4. parallels tools for linux. i haven’t tested it yet. will update when i do. i’ve got a suse linux desktop 10 image i can try.

5. limited directx and opengl support for apps and games. they do have counter strike and doom 3 covered. we’ll see how that works when i get a chance.
